Flies and bees at pools?

They were pretty bad by the pool and refill station when we were at Kidani in August.

There was always a bee or two flying around the drink refill station by the quiet pool at the Poly in August.

We spent a lot of time at the AKL-JH pool in Sept and I don't really remember flies or bees. I think a lot of it depends on their life cycle and mating seasons. And the presence of food and soda machines. It's Octoober in Georgia and we're still dealing with gnats!

We stayed at BWV last month during a very hot and humid week. No flies or bees, just birds and little lizards

My daughter and I noticed many more at the Poly this year than any other. We are used to the ducks, but the bees were more than ever.

We have noticed lots of bees at Kidani and Grand Floridian. (actually one of our DD's got stung on her foot at GF this July. She was just sitting by the pool, it must have landed on her and she moved and startled it) We haven't had problems at BW, SSR, or CSR. It may be luck of the draw, time of year, etc.
