Flickr layout change

Flickr has changed again.

I can't figure out how to post a photo to the DIS right now because I can't find the BB code. I click on the "Share" button, but I'm not seeing the correct code

Is anyone able to help me?

Click on share and then when that opens up you see the little thumb tack icon? Click on that and that will giv you the URL link to post on here. I went thru the same thing yesterday

NEVERMIND. Someone else on another thread already explained it. I've got it now! Thanks.

For those that don't know yet...

Click on the familiar icon of the box with the arrow coming from it. Click on the pin, then choose your size.

The opt out tab seems to be gone for me. Did they finally decide to make everyone switch regardless?

I was reading the Flickr forums, and apparently you can temporarily change back to the classic version by switching your language.

Mine just changed too. I just got used to the last change in layout they made. They need to just leave things the heck alone. It's like when I go to the grocery store and ever couple months they have moved everything around.

At least on a PC, I'm not hating it . Does make it easy to access all the exif information. But I often use flickr on my iPad... not sure if I'll like it there.

Apparently you can no longer opt out. You can switch to another language, as they haven't rolled out the new layout in all languages yet.

I'm kinda liking it as well. I like that there's less clutter when viewing images; like all the links at the top. And it really puts the images in your face. I also like that the Description area is more prominently displayed. I never cared for it in the previous version. Maybe it was just my setup or something; but it seemed like it was barely there.

Not thrilled with the new layout. A photo might be in 30 groups, but only 9 are listed on the page. Miss being able to click on the little arrows to look at several photos in a group without having to actually go to that groups page. Hope they change or at least fix those issues.

I am continuing to have difficulty with sizing images with the new BB codes. No matter what size I select, when I paste it into the forum, it appears original. I fixed it earlier this afternoon by logging out and logging back in, but it is acting up, again. I suppose I should report this bug.

*Edit: from reading the Flickr forums, it looks like this bug is a common occurrence and that others are also having difficulty with the BB code sizes.

My biggest issue is that I don't like the comments on the side of the image. I do like how the pictures pop up, but I wish that the comments were underneath. It seems really packed into that side comment. I do like their new graphics for the exif data.

I believe my difficulties with BBCode image sizing was just an issue with the photos that I had uploaded last night (around midnight - probably when they were working to make the change). I deleted all of the photos that I uploaded last night and uploaded them again, and the sizes seem to be working fine.

*Edit: still having issues with BBCode image sizing. Only some photos of my latest upload are sizing correctly.

I'm not digging the change but then again it always takes me a few days to accept the inevitable.

I'm over flickr. Might as well be on Google+. Looks like they stole all the coding from there anyway. Hopefully something will take it's place soon for photo sharing that's no so Gestapo'ish with the changes.

There are problems with G+, not enough EXIF info for one. Flickr is still more photography focused. I like both, but don't see them as being interchangeable.
