I was curious if anyone have used this way of buying their AP. And if so how was the process and would you do it again and do you think buying in full is better compared to the Flex Pay option on the Universal Orlando sight? I want to buy mine today but I am unsure if I should do the flexpay or not

I always pay my renewal all at once...if you can afford it, try to pay it all now and be done with it. FlexPay is nice but you can run into problems when you come close to the renewal date. If you don't cancel the recurring charges, they keep charging you. Also...if you run into problems during the year and don't have the money in your account, your pass could be suspended or cancelled.

It's much easier to pay at once...if you can do it.

Thank you. I can do it I was just curious what people thought of it. if I buy a preferred pass and say 3months down the road I wanted to upgrade would I be able too?

My understanding is that you would have to pay off the remaining months in full before you could make any changes in the pass.

From the website: Member actions that result in cancellation prior to completion of initial membership agreement will require payment in full of each annual pass purchased.

The agreement is a contract that is binding as it originated.

This is what my cousins ran into. They got a power pass and wanted to upgrade but would have had to pay off the ppasses and then pay the upgrade in full as well.

Also with flex pay there is no discount on each year renewal. The only thing that might be positive about flex pay is the price will never increase as long as you pay each month after the first year. Also the first years payments are lower that the rest because of the down payment. After the first year it's now the whole price divided by 12 months. I hope you understand.

I was going to do this years ago and went round and round with employees and supervisors.

Yes I understand. I wanted to know what people thought about it because I didn't even know they had it. and before I made a decision I wanted some input on other peoples thoughts.
