For those of you that have kids you might already know all about Flat Stanley. Those of you that don't here's how flat stanley works.
Flat Stanley is a storybook about a little boy that gets accidentally squashed flat by (if I remember correctly a chalkboard) and because he's been flattened gets to go on all kinds of fun adventures. Many teachers use flat Stanley as a class project, they create a Stanley that can then be sent home with the kids for a set amount of time for them to create a journal about and take pictures with him and then return him. One of the bonuses of this is that he is flat and can be sent in an envelope so he can go ALL KINDS of places simply by using a stamp. I would love to set up a project like this for the kids (and grown ups too!) on the DIS using a FLAT MICKEY!!!!!
I have a story all together about it that I can post on a new thread and we could take sign ups and take turns sending mickey from one person to another. While Mickey is with you, you could take some pictures and I could create a blog or something, and we could all upload our pictures of Flat Mickey.
So...anyone interested? Maybe people would even be interested in taking Flat Mickey on their Disney Vacation too!
