Flamino Crossing/ West gate Marriott properties

Marriott will be opening new hotels through the year in the west gate area of WDW. I'm not fimiliar get with this area. Considering staying in this location in late October. Are there very many other businesses building in this area such as restaurants and grocerie stores. Is there very much in this area?

Right at the two hotels there is nothing around it. They are talking to another hotel (maybe Hilton) to be built, a gas station and pharmacy. South of it are some large communities. Orange Lake is one and they are currently marketing a chunk of property for commercial business. I expect lots to be built but for now ... if you head south just 4 miles you will hit a Publix and shopping center, and 192 where there are restaurants and all you need right there. So about 8 minute drive.

The hotels are located at Western Way where if you take that on to Disney property will bring you in at Coronado Springs Resort.
