Hi im kinda new to the boards and noticed people get flammed for askin about pool hopping, using refillable mugs 2 visits in a row, not getting a ticket for a 3yr old, squeezing extra people in the room

but then i see people talk about brining snacks into park, bringing water into park and not getting flamed

is out side food and drink allowed?

if not why no flames?

im not an angel and wish i could say my 2yr old now will be 3 on july 4th is 2 when we go in december (Im all for saving money) but he eats more than me some times and he NEEDS his own dinnig credits

I am also not trying to cause trouble but i didnt ever here any thing bad about bringing food/water into the park

if food water is allowed never mind this post :confused3

We went last week and the CM's that look in the bags and backpacks never questioned us when we brought in outside food (small snacks, water, juice boxes). We brought an insulted bag and filled it up. I did not see any signs saying you couldn't bring stuff in. I think Disney officially does not like you to bring it in but they want stop you if you do. Hope that helps. :sunny: We did eat some meals at Disney too...

I believe food is allowed for people with medical conditions and those with children 3 and under, maybe even for everyone (not sure). I know water bottles are allowed- many people have those! The rule is no coolers, no glass bottles, and no alcohol.

I think famofsix is right. The "official" policy is no food but I have had the CM look in my backpack and tell me "people with backpacks have the best snacks!" Just to qualify this has been with children anywhere from age 2 1/2 to 11. I think Disney is reasonable in that you probably can't carry enough on your back to satisfy your family for the whole day. You're going to purchase some food there too. So go ahead, pack those snacks!

We were there in November and took a small soft sided cooler with pop, water and some snacks in it and security looked through it each day and waved us on. I'm not sure but I don't think they will strictly enforce this policy (if it is one)

With little ones it is almost impossible NOT to pack snacks. The snacks you can buy at WDW are not really appropriate for a toddler. I always packed crackers, fruit, etc. Also, special diets and medical conditions like the previous poster said.

FYI, they also flame many other subjects to include restaurant critiques, hotel stays, viewing fireworks from hotel beaches, etc. Thankfully, it is a small(but vocal) part of the DISboards. Most are wonderful, helpful, kind, caring disney addicts like myself. :cool1: :goodvibes
