Flame Tree Barbecue

I like the Flame Tree. The food is fine though they discontinued the chicken sandwich that I ordered. The turkey sandwich was good but not as good as the chicken. The eating area is one of the most beautiful in all Disney Parks. It is large and full of greenery and pavilions some with views of the water and across to Expedition Everest. Here is the centerpiece.

love it! definately a fav for me and hubby kids always want mcdonalds kids meals go figure.

It was a fabulous place to eat, but long lines. The ribs and chicken were fabulous and the fruit plate was very yummy and fresh. Great beans too!! The whole family loved it.

I had the BBQ chicken salad. It was really yummy. Everyone else liked their food too, but I was the only one raving :)

My favorite meal in all of WDW. It's always the first stop on my trip and usually my last too. I'll be eating there 4 times in September.

I love to eat there at SUNSET on the pavilion RIGHT by the water. It is SO much fun to watch Expedition:EVEREST transition from day to night!:)Because of Animal Kingdom's short hours, the opportunities to do this are mostly during Evening Extra Magic Hours.:)

Love the chicken and cornbread:love: Love sitting down by the water too:love:

We love it too. :lovestruc
We eat here every vacation.
Love the BBQ sandwhich, ribs, beans, cornbread and the Safari Amber;) .
The location is wonderful. Nothing like sitting at a little table enjoying the view of Expedition Everest and seeing the boat with all the characters go by! Fabulous dining experience!

this is just my opinion, and maybe we went at the wrong time, but my family did not like the flametree at all!!!!!!!
We got the chicke-very greasy, no flavor and ribs-dry, dry!!!!!
The view was wonderful, but birds was all around... I felt bad for a lady when bird flew and gave her a present.. I am sure WDW gave new meal but...
I honestly think this was my only negative experience at the WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY

best cs in the world.....lines move quickly.....nice seating atmosphere

I alwys get the ribs, good food, not to expensive, I use a CS point for lunch there. :)

ever since seeing it on Food Networks' Unwrapped show, i've had to have their ribs! It's hard to find good ribs, ok impossible, so I really like getting good ones when i am there. 1st time we went the ribs were a bit greasy, 2nd and 3rd time it was perfect. We love the corn muffin too, great combo.

The beans were great too! The key lime pie, so so. We like to walk a bit to find a seat with a great view. It was exciting to see Mt. Everest being built, and yes now it's great to see it finished.

This trip we're on the deluxe plan and so we are going to the TS like Yak and Yeti, but i still want to get the ribs and share it as a snack. It's that good.
Also, the corn muffin you can get it as a snack option.

They didnt give french fries as a side w/ your meal. They were separate, but if on the DP you can use your snack option to purchase them so you dont have to pay OOP.

FlameTree ROCKS!

Our all time favorite CS! We make it a point to go there everytime we go to WDW!:thumbsup2
