Flame Tree Barbecue Question

I know that Flame Tree doesn't have indoor seating. Is the outdoor seating covered? Is there a cooling system or is it as hot as the rest of the park? I'd like to try Flame Tree but I like having the A/C at Tusker House as a nice break from the sweltering September heat and humidity. Any info would be much appreciated!

It is covered seating providing you can fined a seat. I did not like this at all. By the time I could find a seat my food was cold. Hated this never again. Did not know it was outdoor seating my fault for not checking. Also only one cart for getting forks AND ETC. Very poorly set up. Food was not that good besides being cold by the time I could find a seat. PS there was only one of me and no seat.

I really enjoy flame tree barbeque there is alot of shade, The food is great there is alot of places to sit by the water or if you take another path it is higher up! My suggestion would be to find a seat leave some one there and go get your food, but remember where your seat is because you can get lost if you forget! If you like barbeque I'd suggest it! :bitelip:

We had lunch there in June. The food was quite good, but seating is a problem. There're two areas under cover and alot of tables under trees. So, yes, there's a good bit of shade. I felt we had to hurry and eat because so many people were walking around with trays looking for a table.

I've always found Tusker House stuffy and hot. We sit outside when we eat there.

I agree about finding your table first and try not to go during the normal meal times because it can get very crowded. There are covered areas, in fact we were eating under one while it was raining. We love the food!! Give it a try!

We sat in a lovely area (shady and close to the water) with a awesome view of Expedition Everest. Its our favourite cs in ak :thumbsup2

we were there during the first week of free dining, so it was crowded and HOT! We found tables under the trees and overlooking the water. We really enjoyed the meal and it wasn't hot at all!

DS and I found seats and got silverware and napkins while DD and DH got the food. It worked out well.

We did find out that if you order a salad you get a side dish with the dining plan. DD ordered the chicken salad and DH ordered the onion rings and they didn't charge him for them, when he asked about it, they told him they were included!

There is a covered area up some stairs that's seems cooler. We ate there on Friday and it was a nice break to get out of the sun. My DS also loves sitting there because he tries to sneak the ducks his lunch, lol.

Watch out for the ducks. they come right up to you and beg.

Ducks and birds!!! The birds were right next to our plates. The seating is shaded and didn't seem overly hot to me, but not like a blast of cold air from an air conditioned place though.

We ate there for dinner in May and all thought the food was nasty. The ribs and chicken were very dry and overcooked. Next May we'll be trying Tusker House.

We've always had good food when we've eaten here and we enjoy being outside, by the water, under the cover. We don't go turning busy times so I can't say how the crowds are-I guess we'll find out if we eat there next week!
