Flag Wavers? I remember when I was younger

there was always people that were part of big groups that had flags well I was in line at space mountain and 1 of the people raised the flag then boom a ton of people entered the line.(the group always seemed like they were from another country) Is this still done? My mother complained but im not sure it did any good. A post below made me remember this
