Fla Seasonal Pass

Anyone heard if the seasonal pass dates have been changed yet? I'm Jonesin for a quick trip!

Hmmm are they changing the dates on our passes. to tell the truth I don,t mind not going in JUly well maybe a little.

Need a fix too.. I know that the last two years they moved the blackout date up to about this time instead of Aug. I got a postcard in the mail but it wasn't until like a week before the "Aug" blackout date, or else I would have been there earlier.

Anyone know if this is going to happen???

I get the odd feeling that if they were going to do something, they might've announced it by now. We're only what? 3 weeks away from the black-out lift?

I'm another who is dying to check out the changes to POTC, which was the only reason why I agreed to go camping.

Keep us posted, because we're anxious, too. My DH's youngest daughter is coming down from Indiana 8/3-6 (the only time she could "get away" from all of her scheduled activities ...), so we're hoping the Florida Seasonal Passes will be good at that time!

We were hoping they were going to let us back early this year, too, since they did the last two years. In fact, we have a reunion in the Orlando area this weekend and we booked our hotel at WDW "just in case" we could go back into the parks early. I was especially hoping because I want to take my 10 yr old on the Magic Behind the Steam Trains tour as a belated b'day present (he turned 10 on June 16th - just a week after we got blacked out), but I won't pay admission plus tour fees when we have park passes.

So I think we're going to do a single-day to Typhoon Lagoon as long as we're there - and by staying at Old Key West, we can enjoy EMH.

That will be a NO as of now..... At first the woman had NO idea what I was talking about, had to explain it to her WHAT I was talking about, but she said "The pass is good to use from the Aug 17th untill Dec 22....doesn't help me I am going Aug 12-15th!

This is the first year we have bought season passes instead of annual passes (decided to cut back since DD is 3 now and needs a ticket).

Previously we NEVER went during the blackout dates even though we could have...due to het, crowds, holidays at home, etc.

Now that we have these seasonal passes it's killing me not to be able to go over to MK on the weekends. It doesn't help that DD is jonesing to go more than me...and has to remind me everyday!

Now I could go and upgrade our passes...but I know if I do, they will lift the blackout the next day. I think I'll go for the annual passes next year just to save me this stress. I feel like a crazy person!

Did they say it was good 8/17? I thought that was a blackout day, but I hope I am wrong, since that is the day we arrive, and I would love to be able to go to a park!

That is what was confusing, I kept saying the 18th but SHE kept saying the 17th. My pass says the 17th, which means you can use it on the 18th I think?

Well I called and ws told the 18th, and that was what I thought before, so I guess I will assume we will have a non-park day that day unless they waive the blackout period before then. Oh well, a day at DTD or at the pool or water park is OK with me.

I really wish they would lift the dates. We are going August 2-5 and probably again in December, so I really want to buy another seasonal pass (mine has expired), but looks like a 3 day pass for me...
