FLA residents ???I'm geographicaly challenged...

I know my Uncle lives on the east coast
i just don't know where in relation to all this hurrican info and i haven't been able to reach him by phone he had been working
so....
can anyone tell me where Port St.Lucie is located in relation to something i can check on a map

Port St. Lucie is located just a little south of Ft. Pierce. If you have a map of FL, the easiest way to locate Port St. Lucie is to find Lake Okeechobee and go east from the top of the Lake. And yes, it is in the hurricane path. Some of the projections have Frances coming in very close to it.
