I booked a towncar thru FL Tours, we were met at the airport by Andy and taken to our hotel in a beautiful towncar. We arrived I paid in cash-they don't accept credit cards. He said he'd be back the day we left at 12:45, well he showed up on time but in a van! I don't mean to be jerk but I paid for a towncar and he never gave me a reason why he came in a van. All he said was the van was nice and we got it to ourselves and was this all right well what was I going to say go get the towncar? I had a plane to catch. So am I wrong to be so mad?
 
I think you need to discuss this with Andy. He has always been very accommodating for me. I've never faced an issue that needed to be corrected but I imagine that if you send him an email he will try to make things better for you.

I'm going to move this over to the transportation board for you. Good luck with this, I'm sorry you were so disappointed about riding in a van instead of a towncar.

We also used the van on our return from the port and then to the airport. In actuality for us it was nicer than the towncar, with the built in DVD player. I think the van usually costs more than the towncar

First let me say I’m sorry that you had actually felt this way for not taken on a town car on the way back to the airport. We always work very hard and try to make everyone’s experience with FL TOURS a more pleasurable one. I think, I may have tried a little too hard in your case. However, judging by the way your face light up with a big smile ear to ear when I offered the children if they care to see a movie by allowing them choose from a list of Disney DVD movies, I would have thought both you and your mother certainly the children were extremely happy. Wish I had sense the slightest unhappiness in your part. I would have made it right for you right there and then. Now, it’s not uncommon for me at times, to automatically upgrade vehicles into luxury van if I feel you would need a little more room for your luggages or send you a stretch limo at no extra cost to you just for sake of making people happy. That’s what I had attempted to do. Unfortunately, I was not able to accomplish that with you. That would not make me happy. I would only hope we will get another opportunity to make it right for you.

I never said that I was unhappy about the van. The van was fine and yes my children thought the DVD was awesome and were very happy. Your service was great and you were very prompt, I truly appreciate that. I just felt that maybe you should have said up front that you might bring a van to pick us up-I would not have had a problem with that at all. Like I said in the OP, I did not want to seem like a jerk and I don't want you to think that I thought your service was mediocre-quite the opposite, I've tried other towncar services and have been the happiest with yours.
