We have used FL Tours two times using their town car service. They were great. :thumbsup2 On time, freindly, clean cars. We are using them again this June but are getting a limo. Here's my question: On their web site it says that for limo service they add the tip to their fee which is fine but you pay them up front so how does the driver on the return trip get his tip? I just want to make sure that that person gets their tip. TIA

Most limos are company owned and so the drivers are employees of that company. I firmly believe that the tip taken up front is just an extra charge by the limo company and than added to the weekly paycheck of the driver, if it is added to the paycheck. Most town cars, SUV's and vans are individually owned so the ride is subbed to the driver for 20% meaning the drivers would like to collect that 20% back in gratuity to make up for the commission they pay the company. That is the main reason there is a difference in the tipping of the regular transportation vehicles and the limousines. However I do not know this is correct for 100% of the limousine companies.
