We are using Fl tours in a few days and I was wondering how everyones experiences with them have been? This is the first time we have used them so hoping we have a good experience. Did get the second email from them a few days ago but I thought I read somewhere here that they gave you one 2 days before your trip--Oh well, at least I feel confident that they sent me a 2nd email. Thanks

We used their service in September and we were very happy with them. Both drivers were very prompt and courteous. They called us at our hotel the night before we left to confirm our pick up time and they were there waiting for us when we checked out of the hotel. Our trip was great and we still talk about how nice it was not to worry about the transportation to and from the airport. The last thing you should worry about is that. Have a great trip! :D

I used them in Nov for the 1st time. They were great. Got the confirmation email 2 days before, they also called hotel day before we were returning. I will use them again in Feb.

We used them last week. We were very pleased with the service. They were waiting for us near baggage claim when we got off our plane and helped us get everyone and everything to the van and loaded. They had Finding Nemo playing so the kids could sit and watch while we made our grocery store dash. (The father/grandfather/uncle DID stay in the vehicle with the kids.) We didn't receive a phone call the night before we left, but I hadn't even remembered we were suppose to! They were waiting when we checked out anyway!

Thanks so much everyone!

Goofitup---You said you had a van. Was it a regular passenger van? I would love for them to have a dvd movie screen for our dd--on the way to Disney. We also have a van reserved instead of a towncar because of the # in our party and all of the luggage. Was just wondering if we will get the movie for our dd too! Thanks

We used them in November. We had the luxury van. Our driver from the airport was Sonny and was at the baggage area when we arrived. He was very helpful in taking as much of luggage as he could (there were 8 of us). The van had a DVD system in it and he put in "Finding Nemo" for the kids. I had requested 2 child seats but he only had 1 with him and, to be quite honest, I was disappointed in that. It was very dirty and part of it was broken. My 4-year-old had to sit like the rest of us in a seat belt.

On our way home, they showed up just a couple minutes late but in a stretch limo instead of the van. It would have been really nice but with 8 people and all of our luggage, it was pretty crowded. The trunk was stuffed with our luggage as was the front passenger seat. We had to put our Graco Duo-Glider stroller in the back with us. Also, no car seats were provided for either child. They couldn't even be buckled in this time.

I'm not saying I would not use them again. I was just disappointed in the child seat issues and not having the proper vehicle upon our return to the airport. However, they were prompt and courteous.

I am looking forward to using them in a few days! After doing research I am confident we will have a great experience as well. :)
I am happy to read the positive posts about them! Thanks.

We used them on our recent trip (leg to resort late night on Nov 20th- return leg to airport midday on Dec 2nd) and overall we were pleased and would use them again.
It was the first time ANY of us (myself, DH and 3 children) had been in a limo and we loved it. There were sodas for us to drink, carseat for the youngest, and tv for the kids to watch (I don't know if it was Disney channel or a Disney tape different each trip- didn't matter... they liked it). The kids loved the changing colors "stars" on the ceiling and stripes around the 'bar' area.
Our driver helped with all our luggage out to the limo when we arrived and packed it in the trunk- even had to put the stroller in the front passenger seat on both legs of the trip. On the return trip we had our luggage on a dolly cart and he packed it in the trunk (I had to help hold it though because it was trying to roll away the entire time! LOL)

We had our grocery shop even though it was late at night. They also called us the day before our return trip to airport which I'm glad they did as I would have totally forgotten to call them to confirm 24hrs ahead like I think we're supposed to??

We tipped the driver $40 on the way to resort and again on the way back.

Only a few MINOR things that weren't "perfect" but not enough to make us not want to use FLTours again in the future:
--The driver was not very personable and hardly said a word on both trips. Like no personality at all- just did his job kind of thing- yanno? He even had the black thing down seperating himself from us at the window on the trip back to the airport. I think because he was on the phone and the kids talked intermittently about the show on the tv at times.

--The driver kept walking into the store and pacing around the outside of the limo the entire time I did the grocery shopping (with my oldest child- the others and DH stayed in the limo). I don't know why he did that- maybe to make sure I didn't take too long? It was late at night though.... maybe he was tired and wanted to go home to bed! Can't blame him.... oh and our grocery stop was at his choice and I believe it was Goodings? And boy it was EXPENSIVE... I've never seen such high prices for everything! I bought about what would have cost $40 or $45 or so here- for $115 there! Seriously... way outrageous pricing there! Everything was double or triple the prices I was used to paying!

--The carseat worked fine- but we never could get the seatbelts for us to work tightening up- only the one on the end where the carseat was put both times- so we all but the youngest weren't seatbelted in- they were extremely loosely hanging- like literally to our knees! Pointless.. might as well not had seatbelts at all.

-- The carseat wasn't with him when he picked us up- we waited in the limo for about 20min for someone to bring it to us... not really a problem as we enjoyed sitting in the limo, but it did make us very pressed for time in the airport when we had planned on eating dinner before our flight since leaving for the airport hours early generally gets you there hours before your flight departs. Otherwise we would have had to eat dinner around 3pm- and our flight arriving at DFW at 8:30 (which was 9:30 our "body" time/Orlando time) with an hour's drive home and kids had to go to school the next day so we couldn't stop at that hour to eat dinner! Anyway... the carseat delay AND the airport being more packed than I had EVER seen (including curbside checkin, security, etc.) caused us to have to scarf down hamburgers at the Burger King in record speed and run to our gate RIGHT when they were boarding our rows! So we did have perfect timing- but had to eat mega fast (no exaggeration- ordered/paid/ate in about 10min time!) I guess that's why they have you leave so early for the airport- in case things like this happen including the airport being packed! (what's up with the midday Tuesday airport being packed like that?? LOL)

As I said- all minor things and overall we enjoyed using FLTours for our limo ride and all trips in the future where we will not have our own vehicle or TT- we'll be using FLTours again. :)
