FL Residents - If your insured with State Farm Insurance

If there is anyone in Florida who has damage from Charley and does not know how or where to get a hold of State Farm Insurance please let me know.

I work for the company and have all sorts of info. as to where our catastrophe teams are set up around the state.

Wow Trish, that is really nice. We are State Farm Home Insurance policy owners, but luckily we do not need the service at this time.

I am just hoping this doesn't mean a big hike in policy premiums (fingers crossed). I am already paying almost double what I paid 5 years ago. But I do love State Farm!

I know, the rate hikes have hit everyone countrywide. If it makes you feel better, every insurance company has increased their rates.

The good part about State Farm is that you have an agent close by to take care of all your needs. And we truly do care about all of our policyholders!!

I have State Farm for home and car, I love you guys! Fortunatly I haven't needed it for anything major, but by just the way my agent takes car of the little things, I know he'll come through for the big stuff. He even helped me protect my home by suggesting I increase my car insurance. I asked him what one has to do with the other. He said if I cause an accident with the car and get sued, the person sueing could take the house as payment if my car insurance policy doesn't cover the damage. For an extra $2 a month on my car insurance, the odds of that happening are now much lower!

Anyway, it's really nice of you to offer to help those in FL to get the info they need.

Trish, you got me thinking, lol. I have a new State Farm Insurance agent and I just made an appointment with him for Wednesday to go over all my policies (homeowners and two vehicles).

It is the job of our State Farm Agents to discuss this with you and to make sure you are properly covered. You will be amazed at the different discounts are available!!!

Hey everyone - don't forget to ask about Personal Umbrella coverage with your agent! I'm here in Texas, and was able to buy a $1,000,000 umbrella over both my car and home, for $250 a year. Best money I've ever spent!
