i am wondering if it is worth it? it will cost $70 and will save 20% at some restaurants. we plan on eating at cindys for breakfast (if i can get a ps!), chef mickeys one night, and 3 or 4 other full service restaurants. we are going for 10 nights. some of the other restaurants are prime time, le cellier, rain forest cafe. and maybe one or two more but those are the ones that are definite so far. what do you guys think? will it be worth it for the savings?can you use the discount for character meals?

How many diners are in your party and will you have drinks that cause the bill to be slightly higher? That will make a difference. We have used it for 3 years now and have always saved a ton and there is only usually the two of us, unless we have friends join.

Don't forget you can use it in the lounges at most of the resorts too if you are planning on having drinks or munchies there.

Rainforest Cafe doesn't take the card. Off the top of my head some others that don't are the restaurants in the Swan and Dolphin, Japan at Epcot I think, Portobello Yacht Club, Fulton's, some other's but I can't remember right now.

We used it at the Flying Fish for a party of 4 this weekend and we saved $50 on that dinner alone.

And the renewal rate is only $60 next year.

Have to say we have easily made up the difference with the membership fee for this card. They have removed some restaurants from the list like Roaring Forks. But when eating at some of the sit down restaurants like Le Cellier or Flying Fish it starts adding up.

Every year I wonder whether to renew and always do.

sorry. there will be a total of 6 of us. 3 adults (2 over 21) and 3 children.

I think it would be worth it. Yes, you can use it for character meals. There are also a couple of counter service places at AK that take it as well as the All Star Food Court. You would only have to spend $350 to make up the $70 cost. That could easily be done in a 10 day time span. I just got the latest newsletter yesterday and they have added Planet Hollywood to the list now as well.
