Anyone have any luck getting any Florida resident discounts and what are there?

I booked using the FL resident code that was on the WDW site. We got the Poly GV Concierge for $ 329 a night (tax incl.) A regular GV room would have been $221 (tax incl.) Hope this helps.

Just got CBR 7/2-7/4 for fl res rate code AEG. 3 nights came to $298 incl all taxes.

I booked Animal Kingdom standard room for 138.26 including tax for June. Quoted $276.50/night for standard Grand Fl and $238.00/night for Beach Club standard (both including taxes). Hope this helps someone.

I called today for June rates and was told the following this is all before tax.

WL - Standard room (124) Woods view (140)
AKL - Standard room (124) Animal view (200)
Poly - Standard room (199)

This morning my mom booked POFQ for May2-4 (fri and sat nights)

for $74 plus tax a night. Total was 165.00-this is so cheap!

Can you get a FL resident rate if one person sharing the room is a FL resident, and shows his FL drivers license, even though the room is registered to the OTHER person, OR does the room have to be registered in the name of the FL resident?? Thanks, Karen

Karen,
The reservation must be in the name of the Florida residient in your party. I have always been asked for ID ar check in when using FL rates. Hope this h elps
