Silly question (and I should know the answer but don't). I am a FL resident & have the resident pass. I showed my drivers licence (can't spell either) to get my pass. My friend is interested in getting a pass & needs to know what other forms of ID are acceptable. I know there is a site that has a great list, but I can't find it....anyone remember it???? Thanks º0º :)

I signed onto the Fl Department of Motor Vehicles site (don't recall the exact site name, but I used the meta-search engine "dogpile" and found it quickly.)

In any case, it is probably the official list.

According to the Disney website link provided by mowsearz, the requirements are:

Proof of Florida residency is required -- you must provide any one of the following:

Florida driver's license
Florida state-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
Utility statement with your name and Florida address along with a corresponding picture ID
Florida voter's registration card with corresponding picture ID
A college ID for a Florida college
Florida-based military ID

The last time we bought resident AP's a Florida Power bill was not accepted. They need a driver's license or Florida ID card. We owned property in Florida but our driver's licenses were from up north, originally when we purchased AP's we were considered FL residents but not last year. I know you actually have to reside in Florida for the Disney Dining Experience cards also.

My parents have a home in Florida. My Dad has a FL driver's license. My Mom has a NYS drivers license. She doesn't really drive. She didn't want to take the driving test again. She also didn't want to give up her NYS license.

They have residences & businesses in both states.

When my parents joined us for our last Disney trip, I had my Mom go to the DMV near their home in Miami to get a FL ID card. All DMV needed was her permanent address.

She used her FL ID card to purchase the Fl seasonal pass. My Dad, of course, used his FL driver's.

Mom23guys2, if you do have a second home in Florida, you could probably get the FL ID cards next time you are down there without giving up your Jersey licenses.

You can also get a valid in FL only driver's license. You don't need to take the test again and you don't need to give up your other license. This FL license will only kick in when you are driving in the state of FL; otherwise, your other license is predominent. I had one of these when I went to school in Miami.

Disney is probably cracking down on people trying to get resident passes by using the addresses of friends & relatives living in FL.

It's surprising that Disney is not honoring the proof of residency (utility bill) listed on their website. Unless you were trying to use your out of state driver's license as picture ID!
