We are current Platinum Plus AP holders. Our APs expire June 28 but we are moving to FL on July 15 so we would prefer to wait until we get to FL so we can renew our passes as FL residents. MDE won't let me see the info on FL resident tickets yet since we currently have a TX address. Can someone tell me how much you need to put down for a Platinum Plus pass in order to do the monthly payment plan? Do you pay the balance over the next 11 months?

Thank you!

Down payment for all Annual passes is $125. Monthly payment will be $63, the first month payment is the very next day of your purchase. Pass will activate on the day you first enter the park.

in renewing our FL annual, we have not had to put down any deposit. It may not be the same when converting from your annual to FL annual, but we have had them for 14 years with no down payments since they started the monthly payment program.

Hmmm. So does WDW consider this to just be a renewal of our APs since we would be "converting" from a regular AP to a FL resident AP within 30 days after our passes expire? Or do we have start all over again since we will now be getting the FL resident AP? Anyone out there had to do this before? Did you have to put $125 down or did they just switch you over to the monthly payment plan?

Not sure on the downpayment question, but here's an early welcome to FL!

We moved back less than a year ago, and honestly can't remember why we moved away!

@dlavender Thank you! We lived in Tampa a few years ago and loved it, but had to relocate to Houston. We are very excited to be moving back - we will be about 15 minutes from WDW in Winter Garden. We can't wait!!

Disclaimer: This may or may not work online, but it definitely works in person.

You can renew from a tourist pass to a FL pass as long as you do it within 30 days of your old pass expiring. You won't have to put a down payment, but you will keep your old expiration date, just a year forward.

Winter Garden is a nice area, I've been here 3 years and really like it.
