We are thinking of moving to FL how do you get FL resident passes? I imagine you need a FL drivers license and what about minors do they go off of your ID's or what? Just checking and what about if you have someone in college does a college ID work?

Any help would be awesome.

Florida passes are always given as a voucher, unless you purchase right at the ticket window, but then there is not a discount, you pay gate price. When you activate the vouchers at the ticket window you must show proof of residency. They have always checked all adults in the party when I have activated, but this may be different for others. All adults had to have proof of Fl rsidency. Children just go off of the adults.

Proof of Florida residency is required—you must provide any of the following:

Florida driver′s license
Florida state-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
Florida voter′s registration card with corresponding picture ID
A college ID for a Florida college
Florida-based military ID

I'm not sure about vouchers? I've always bought my FL passes right at the gate and still recived the FL discount on the 3-Day and annual passes. I was told there isn't a FL discount on the 1-day pass.

But yes you just show a valid Florida ID to recive the FL discount.

Are the vouchers give to you when you purchase a vacation package?

The vouchers are sent to me via mail when I order through Disney.

I just re read the site and found I was wrong on some info. If you buy a 1 day ticket at the gate, you pay gate price. The rest are discounted.

"When you order Florida Resident tickets, you will receive an exchange certificate in the mail. Redeem the exchange certificate at any Walt Disney World® Theme Park ticket window by presenting the exchange certificate and valid photo ID.

Tickets are non-transferable, are only valid during regularly scheduled operating hours and exclude activities/events priced separately. No additional discounts apply. Proof of Florida residency for each adult required.

*1-Day tickets purchased at the gate will NOT include Pre-arrival savings and will be sold at the gate price. "

I always ordered ahead of time and gotten the vouchers (green credit card looking things). BTW, if you order a 1 day ticket ahead of time, it is discounted. Its like $65.

I get my Florida season pass thru AAA. You get a discount thru them. They then mail you a voucher which, as stated already, you take to any ticket window, show the proper ID and you're set.

Added-This is for an annual pass.
