My parents are looking into coming to WDW for a visit in early October. They do not live in FL full time but my mother owns a condo in S FL & we found out that she can show a bill in her name & get the FL resident discount on tickets. I've been living here in FL for a few years & I remember in fall of 2010, I purchased a resident promotion on tickets similar to the Discover Disney spring promotion going on now..I believe it was $130 for 3-4 days. I used them for a trip in January of 2011.

Does anyone know if they've been doing this same deal for residents for the fall like they do now for spring anymore? I read one article that said they have been doing free dining for fall & some discounts haven't been available in recent years.

Just for clarification, part-year residents have to show:

Must have a driver's license or state photo ID card from another state, or a non-US Passport and at least one of the following items which does show a Florida address:
* Monthly mortgage statement
* Current homeowner's insurance policy or bill, current automobile registration, insurance policy or bill or current utility bill (Power/Phone/Cable/Water).
* Statement from a financial institution showing checking, savings or investment information or mail from a Federal or Florida State, County or City government agency.

There are 3- and 4-day Florida resident tickets available all year (but subject to black-out dates same as the Seasonal Annual Passes). I don't know that the current $129/3 days and $149/4 days is actually a discount.

Thank you for the info! It appears that the current promotion is a discount b/c on the site, to the right of it the prices that are good until 12/15 are a 3-Day Ticket for $179.00 & a 4-Day Ticket for $199.00.
