FL res tickets for non FL residents?

Can a Florida resident gift me some tickets? I have friends that live in florida that would be willing to purchase our tickets, but how would that work? Would they have to accompany us to the park? I've read in other posts that FL residents have gifted tickets before - usually kids tickets, but hoe would that work with adult tickets? Thanks.

We have purchased tickets for non Florida residents and I read all the small print to make sure it was "legal." It said limit 10 tickets. I just had to swipe my original credit card to pick them up with the possibility that they would want to see my ID, but it didn't say anything about accompanying them into the park. I also called to make sure (didn't want to get in trouble) and the person on the phone said it was ok to buy tickets for non Florida residents.

I have been told by a supervisor that the policy changed this year and a Non-Florida resident can no longer use Florida resident tickets. It also depends on who you get at the gate when you go in...half the time they don't look at the ID but you might get that person that checks your ID.

My mom purchased a PP for my DH since I have an AP and we plan on going a couple times this year. I called customer support and they said worse case I would have to upgrade it once I get to the park to a regular ticket.

If you read the tickets now it says has to be used by a Florida Resident, that is what the rep supervisor told me the other day.


If you go to the FL Resident page now under the ticket area you will see "Tickets are for purchase and use by Florida Residents only."
