FL res ticket question

I'm about to purchase FL 3 day tickets for my in-laws (who are also FL residents). It looks like I have to put their names on the vouchers. If by some chance they decide not to come with us as planned am I able to use these vouchers for us instead? (to put toward a renewal for our annual pass or a new annual pass before the voucher expires)

You will be able to trade in the new, unused vouchers' value toward any ticket transaction with a higher price.

When we lived in FL we used to buy those 3-day vouchers all the time. My husband and I had to go in person to guest services to have them validated after (both) proving we were Florida residents.
