Fl passholder Jan special rates question

I just read on disneyworld.com under fl passholders rates that there is a special deal from Jan 2-13th and the rates are great. Has anyone used the rates to book a deluxe room? Which hotel were you able to book at???

We got the ASM for 3 nights 2-4 jan for a total of around $ 165.00
thats with tax.

So we were happy with that was going to shoot for a deluxe room but we want to go back in a few months and the money saved here we will put for a room at AKL.

We bought the passes a year ago and went to ASMo in Jan for $49.

A value is perfect when the weather is cold and the parks are empty because you will probably spend more time at the parks and the pool is iffy!

Then we went in the beginning of May and stayed at CBR for $84. We were more able the enjoy the resort and pool.

We did AKL Labor Day for $119

ad ASSp in Nov for $49

All of these were FL RES rates.

Our only bad deal was Oct. Our AC went out on a Friday afternoon and could not be fixed until Monday. My DH came home from work and said "Let's go to WDW!" I called around 5:30pm and could only get ASSp for $99!!!!! We took it for two nights and were checking in at 10:30pm.


My opinion is to stay at a value when the weather is cooler and save for the deluxe when the weather is warm- unless you can only get away in Jan- I would go for Deluxe in that case!
