Hi, Im going to Univerrsal monday (im an hour away have annual passes) and have never been on FJ due to waits. Im atempting to going on it if line are an hour or less, but I have some questions about the ride.

1. I have rode Spiderman, The Simpsons, and Jimmy Neutron before. I handeled all of them. Will I be able to handle FJ?

2. I understand you get flipped on your back, but how many times does this occur?

3. Are there any guides out their for FJ besides Universals Rider Tips?

1. I assume you are worried about motion sickness. If you can handle those other rides, you are probably okay. If you have any concerns, then you can do a number of things to increase your comfort level: OTC meds, ride with an empty stomach, close your eyes during the simulator portions, etc.

2. I wouldn't use the term "flipped"--that suggests jerkiness to me. The ride vehicle motion is really pretty smooth. I can remember only one spot where you are completely on your back, and it lasts for 5 seconds at most.

3. Yes. There are countless threads on these boards. ;)

I came off FJ wrecked, but then again I'm getting to be a geezer so perhaps such rides aren't going to have such impact on young whippersnappers. :)

Thanks everyone! Ill go on it if there are lines less than an hour, as I still want to do other things :thumbsup2

Don't forget, there is a single rider line. We found that even when the waits for FJ were an hour, single rider was 15 min. at the most. No guarantee, of course.
