FJ or Olivander's first?

I was planning on heading straight to FJ on our upcoming visit, but then read in a guide book to go to Olivander's then FJ. It's our first visit and we want to see both for sure. We are not staying at a Universal resort so won't get early entry. For those of you who've been before, what would you do?

If you had early entry, it would be Ollivander's--hands down. Without early entry, I would still head to Ollivander's first on the chance the wait still isn't bad. It is a cute show, but not worth more than a 30-45 minute wait IMO. If it's longer than what you're willing to wait, you could head back near park close and see if the wait is better. Be careful with this strategy though--they close the queue to O's before the park.

Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to follow it!!

We went to Ollivander's first and then FJ and will definitely do it again that way the next time we go. We had just entered Hogsmeade for the first time, and so standing there in line for O's for a little while was really quite cool, just looking around at all the buildings and the magical details in the shop windows across the street while we waited...it all felt like time well spent! We did the same thing when we went back the second day too. And if you follow the suggestions on these boards and don't take packages and bags with you to the FJ, you can skip right past the long locker line and get in the shorter line for FJ. (If you do have to use the lockers, go through Filch's to the right and use a locker in the back part of the locker room. There will be no wait there!) Have a great time!!pixiedust:

My kids are 8, 6, and 2 when we go to WWOHP in September and we will be using the baby swap. Do we go to locker line or the regular line?:confused3

Regular line. Just tell the employees, when they tell you about lockers, that you are using baby swap.

Sorry to hijack, but I have a related question. We are also going to need to use baby swap. Can we take our stroller through the FJ line with us or is there a stroller parking area outside? Is it obvious once we're there?

Thanks!

There is stroller parking in front of the castle. You'd have to ask a TM if you can bring the stroller in line.
