FJ locker queue

We will be at US/IOA on Memorial Sunday and Monday in two weeks. I know, what were we thinking?! I have read about FJ's locker and non-locker queues. How is the locker queue during early entry? Are we better off just renting a locker at the park entrance before heading to FJ or does that line move pretty quickly during early entry? We want to be as "line efficient" as possible. Thanks.
