This will be our first time back to the parks since FP+ came along. We will be utilizing the parent swap a lot this trip because we have a 1 year old, and most of our FP+ are being used on the 'big kid" rides for our other 3 kiddos. I'm wondering, has anyone had trouble fitting in the parent swap in their one hour window?

Rider switch passes don't have to be used immediately. Dates of expiration seem to vary- we had weeks to use ours, but at the very least they are good all day the day you get them.

The baby swap ticket is usually good for the rest of the month, not within the hour.

If you are talking about whether it's possible to go through FP+ then baby swap? It really depends how busy and lucky you are. I've been in FP+ lines where it's over 30mins!

Thank you for the insight! That makes me feel better knowing we aren't so rushed. I talked to a CM and was told I had one hour for my husband and kids to ride and then for me two switch-off and take a turn riding with them.

Not sure what you mean about fitting the parent swap in a window. The only thing you have to manage when using the swap is the group going in using the FP. You still get a paper pass for the swap which can be used any time that day (and usually for at least some number of days after) so both sets of riders do not have to ride during the FP hour.

Suggestion for FP with a party of 5 riders (not counting 1 year old and assuming you're going with spouse) - for each FP slot for big kid ride, have two people make FP for one ride and 3 people make FP for a different ride (or if it's a ride you want to ride more than once - the same ride at a different time slot). At first ride, the three with FP go first. With the rider swap the two waiters go (and get to bring a third with them). For second ride, the two with FP go first, and the three waiters use the swap pass. You can get six FP rides that way (although you're split up a little bit more).
