Fitting in a waterpark and Disney Springs into park schedule

Given the ages of your party (don’t need to factor in Jedi Training, the Disney Jr type stuff or nap times/early bedtime), I’d say you should be able to hit BB and HS in the same day if you have your heart set on it.

We did Typhoon Lagoon in early November (BB closed for refurb). It was about 85 degrees that day, but we didn’t wait more than 5 minutes for anything, despite 7-8 level crowds at the 4 main parks that day. We were there a few minutes before park opening, and we had ridden everything at least once (and several slides 2-3 times) by around noon, when we headed to lunch at DS.

My suggestion would actually be to rework some of your days and avoid those EMH hours. We always travel that first week of February and crowds are low enough that you should be able to see what you want in 6 park days without EMH. That makes your trip a tad more relaxing and the crowds even better.

I'm not sure what you want you want to see at Disney Springs, but if it's just to walk around and visit the stores a little, you can probably just play it by ear. We loved our trip to KSC but we did find ourselves back on WDW property about dinner time, so you could go to Disney Springs that night. You may also find that you don't need 2 full days at EP, so one of those days may mix with Disney Springs nicely.

I will second or third the suggestion that it is going to be hard to pick a BB day this far in advance. The weather may cooperate - it also may not. If you really want to head there, you'll probably need to be flexible.

Finally, you won't get to everything in USF and IOA in one day. But you can certainly have a great time. Figure out what is important to do and organize your day to hit those things first.

So glad I stumbled across this post. I'm planning on being down there for the Feb break and was contemplating doing BB until around 1 or 2 and then heading to HS. A lot of you bring up a good point about the weather probably not being hot enough to be comfortable at a water park. I guess we can play it by ear...if it's in the 80s, then I'll go, but 70's is a little on the cool side.
