Fitness Center at AKV - Jambo?

We will be staying at AKV - Jambo next month. Can anyone tell me about the fitness center at this resort?

Pretty standard. About three each of treadmills, bikes, ellipticals. Basic weight machines. Staffed during the day, but available with your room key 24/7. Located by the pool, so you have to walk outside to get there. Only issue I have with it is that the smoking area for the resort is right outside the door, and it's no fun walking through that to get in/out.

What about showers? I'm curious - if I'm doing a split stay (club level to value) and will be "homeless" possibly from 11-4 I'm wondering if I can shower in the fitness center after getting all sweaty at the pool that morning.

Here's a picture of the AKV-Jambo fitness center I took about 6 months ago. Maybe it'll be of some help. I also remember that there were showers in the ladies locker room.
