My DS who is 9, LOVES to fish. I wanted to stay at Coronado Springs this time, but after reviewing some old info, I realized Port Orleans Riverside has fishing.
Does Coronado also have fishing?
What is the charge for fishing, if we did not do an excursion?
Or would an excursion be a good idea?

Thanks for any help

Roll up your pant legs and hunker down for a day of fishing - the old fashioned way. Find your ideal spot, cast out your line and enjoy some dockside Cane Pole Fishing.

Dockside Fishing is available, without advance reservations, at the following Resort locations:

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside

and TGM states:

Fishing Junior excursions:

Disney also offers one-hour fishing excursions for children ages 6 to 12 on Bay Lake and Crescent Lake. Up to 5 children can go together at $30 per child, and your cost includes two guides (for safety), fishing gear, and beverages. These trips are only available at 10 a.m. on Sat and Sun, and 3 p.m. Mon - Fri. Pick up areas may vary - please call for hours and locations.

maybe you can just call disney for adtl info on the excursion. :sunny:
