Fishing Spots

Can anyone tell me where the best place to go fishing is at the Fort Wilderness campground? We have gone behind the 300 loop, but have not had alot of luck. Any help would be appreciated.

We always fish the canal up by the lake on loop 300. The trick is to fish there when the pumps up by the lake are running ,,and have the right bait. For some reason the pumps running really turn on the bass. Monday is when they usually run the pumps.Also you are not spose to fish the boat docks ,,however,I have found that after hours no ones likely to say anything to you for fish'n around the docks, ( DO NOT GO ON THE DOCKS TO FISH ) .My wife has caught a 9 lb. and I have caught a 8 lb.,,been a few years ago. Don't forget to release,,, HAPPY FISH'N !!..Mr.

P.S....Have you considered a Disney Guided Fish'n Excursion ? It is big $$, however up to 5 people can go. Great fun an great fish'n. If you ever do a trip be sure to bring a camera.Mr.

Ive been saving that secret spot for a couple of months now...someone leaked it to me a little while back.....its like madeness when the pumps are on Ive heard.....little rubber black and white minnows are the preferred bait apparently. Im hoping this is good info!!!!

Thanks for the tip. It appears the pumps are the key. I will let you know if we have any success when we return. I appreciate the info.
