I never got an answer and I didn't bother to ask while there. I never saw anyone at csr fishing from the bank and I didn't see anyone in '13 at por. I'm assuming the answer is no.
We've fished at POR before, but that was before the 3yr old arrived You do NOT need a license, but you do have to release. I called and they said you can't bring your own poles, that you have to rent the cane poles there. I'm sure people have brought their own poles without asking first, but I'd rather not have to pack ours anyway
My boys had blast fishing for the first time there. They both caught a couple of fishes and on the last one I couldn't take the fish off the hook. So I asked the attendant to do it for me and told my son to put the fish back in the water while we waited for him. Before the attendant came a otter swiped the fish off his line.
But definitely go early in the morning as the fish are most active then.
I called about the November nitro bass fishing and the times were 7am 10am and noon. I assume the best time to go is 7am.. Would they still be active at 10am? The price I was given was $270 for 2hrs.. Is there a better rate I can get?
