Fishing on HHIR property.

Has anyone had issues fishing near the bridge as you enter the property? My son was asked a couple of times not to fish there by a marina security person. He's never had problems in previous years.

I just gotta ask…He was asked not to fish “a couple of times”?
So security asked him to stop fishing, but he opted to to ignore it and continued to fish anyway?

Has anyone had issues fishing near the bridge as you enter the property? My son was asked a couple of times not to fish there by a marina security person. He's never had problems in previous years.

Although we haven't fished, I've seen people fishing in that area several times. Actually, thinking about it, they've always been along the area between the Lodge and the exit gate, on private property, so maybe marine security doesn't have any authority on private property.

I think the gray area is whether the property is disney or palmetto dunes/shelter cove.

Yes, he did. Never had a problem previous years and she was rude. Plus, he thought he was on Disney property. I believe last year my wife inquired at the front desk of the resort and they told her they would look into it and get back to us. They never did.
