Fishing In WDW

Just wondering if anyone knows about fishing inside the World. I was thinking of surprising my DH, since he loves to fish but rarely finds time with his schedule to do it. I read somewhere there were fishing excursions on the lakes inside WDW. Does anyone know if this is true?

We have fished many times from the ft. Wilderness Campground but i think they do it outside of the Yacht and Beach club as well. I can't remeber exactly but i think it was around $300 for a couple hours and you have to tip the fisher guide that will bait the hooks and remove the fish. All thrown back. They do have a cooler with drinks. I have found the fishing guides to be great, very nice people. They move around to make sure you hook some fish, we have alot of great pictures of the kids and us. I think 5 total can go.

This is definitely true. We have been using Disney's Guided Fishing Excursions since our very first WDW vacation many years ago. My husband loves to fish, and even though I am allergic to seafood and do not fish, I love to join him (and our children) on the fishing excursions.
