need to know where i can find info from disney on fishing in lakes
without hiring their guides. i have fished the canals before and never told that i had to stop. they used to list that fishing was allowed in all waters.

Tman, we have only used the Disney fishing excursions so I do not know the answer to your question. However, if you call WDW-PLAY, they should be able to answer it for you.

This is what is currently posted on the official WDW website in regards to fishing:
