READER COMMENTS
Dave, 10/05: Fishing Trips are a wonderful way to take a break from the parks and have a lot of fun. What could be better than catching bass with Disney properties as a backdrop. The last two trips that my family took to Disney (2003 and 2005) we did a fishing excursion each time. In 2003 we went in November and caught 22 bass all weighing 4 pounds or more with the largest being about 8 pounds. The latest trip we went in October and caught 17 bass again all 4 pounds or
bigger. The biggest this trip was caught by my daughter and was around 6+ pounds and watching her reel it in was a blast. If you go to Disney in the summer the fishing may not be as good as we have experienced in the fall because of the heat. The fishing trips are expensive, $230 for 2 hours. But I will do at least one fishing trip each time we go to Disney. My daughter and I enjoy it so much and it gives us both some one on one quality time.
