Fisher Price Star Station

I was wondering what you thought of the Fisher Price Star Station if you have it. I have read mixed reviews and would like to know what you think of it. I'm not sure if I should get this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. Thanks!

for Christmas. She plays with it everytime we go to the store, so I'm hoping she will still love it at home. The problem that I'm having is with the extra Roms for it. The songs on them don't seem to be anything that she would really care for. There is a song or two on each one but that's it. She loves the ones that come with it, so I don't know if I'm going to buy an extra ones for now. I do plan to buy a huge pack of batteries at Sam's. The one bad review that I've read was that it goes through them pretty fast. I wish it had a plug option.

I had purchased this for my kids for Christmas too as they are always having a blast in the store with this. But then I read all the reviews on Amazon and took it back. Seems that the quality was not the same when you got it home and didn't always work. I was bummed - I thought this would be a great gift. Still would like to get it but don't want to get something that won't work. Would also love to know if someone has one and has used it.
