My DS will be 5 weeks away from 3 at Christmas. DH wants to get him this as our gift to him. Anyone have it and - pros/cons? worth the price?

Also, most important - anyone see any deals on this?

Don't have it.. had never even heard of it.. but wow, does that look neat!! My girls would've loved having that when they were younger!

I'd say go for it.

I ordered one for Christmas for DD3 (almost 4 by then). I used a 25% off Kohls coupon and ordered it online. Sign up for Kohls e-mails - I'm sure they will have more coupons coming.

We're thinking of getting this or the Vtech MobiGo for DD for Christmas as well. She'll be 21 months by then.

We let her play with both of the demos at Target the other night, and she seemed to have more fun with the iXL. The only thing she tried on it was the art studio, but she seemed to be much less frustrated with it than she was with the MobiGo.

We got it for our son's 4th birthday. My sister also bought it for her 4 year old daughter. It is really fun, but I think our son may be a little young for it as he has lost interest in it already (only had it for a few weeks). The games for it are limited, but it is a neat gadget. The memory is somewhat limited.
