Had a great time last week. Just gotr home a couple of hours ago. Got up at 4am and am tired after a good flight home.

DW,DS12 and DS13 got to the RPR and got room 1118. Not much of a view but the room was nice enough. The staff was very helpful checking in.I should mention that we used SunRay services from the airport.Alsoi very good. Bob was his name and the trip to Publix was also very helpful. Thanks to all of you on this forum
WE arrived at about 2pm and met some friends by the pool. They were leaving the next day and went tothe parks. We chilled out at the pool which was very nice. I Always enjoy a couple of cold ones by the pool and to swim. DW does too.
Our friend said we would have a great time and relax too. They were right on all points. I mentioned that we should eat at Emerils Thoup chop hoping to get a positive response from the wife.Since she knew Emeril is one of my favorites she was all for it
What a fabulous meal we all had. The place was exceptionl.It has to be one of the best meals that I've ever had. I had the Chef's tasting menu. If I was going to eat there only once I was going to go for it big time. Aziz and Fernando and Stephanie gave top notch seervice all the way around. From recommendations for the boiys to being attentive without interfering.
The head Chef also came out to out to our table and the general manager Francisco.
What a fine way to start a vacation.
Had breakfast of cereeal and bagels with some delicious fruit and some coffee next morning and DS12 called IOA. We walked and the Hulk was down for repairs so we went to Spider Man. I can't say how great FOTL is. It is worth every bit that you don't stand in lines. We did this twice in a row. Went to Dudley Do Right and on to Jurrasic Park. This was a big hit and we did it 3 times in a row.
On to dueling dragons. DS12 and I are the braver ones and went on ice. told the other 2 how great it was and they come with us on Fire. DW only did it once Boys and I went again. Like I said, FOTL is the greatest thing .Toured Saw Posiedons Adventure and we enjoyed that too. Walked through Suess Land. As we were walking we were grazing on the pretzels,lemon slushies And a couple of beers. We enjoyed the detaiiling in all parts of the parks. Very well done.
Got back to the room and headed to the pool as it was hotter than we're used to being from upstate NY. 50 miles south of Montreal CA. Had a nice dinner at Islands and went to bed
The next day we went to US. The boys were too cool to do Jimmy Neutron, Pre - Teens
Got the obligitory lemon slushee and got to the Mummy. After 3 times in a row I got the feeling we had a favorite. We ended up doing this ride 8 times while we were there last week and DS12 screemed just as loud each time.It was great. Did Jaws,Saw the Blues brothers.Had some Nathan's and generally enjoyed ourselves again.
WEnt back to the room and pool as it was hot. Chilled out and had a few Bud Lights that we stashed in our room cooler. Staff didn't mind and we saved a few bucks. Actually more than a few as we weree on vacation.
Ate at Bulas and had some decent food. Let me say that all food in the parks or hotels was way above fast food. All was displayed with taste and more importantly tasted good. Also the portions were huge. Swam all day and read a book. DW and I decided to leave boys iin room and go to City Walk. I spied Bubba Gumps and Had some delicious shrimp. Also Huge portions but I did my best on 3/4 pound and helped DW with her shrimp salsa. Excellent service and food was very good.Man, this was turning out to be a great vacation so far. Relaxing in mind and tired in body
WE got up early and went to islands and had a nice breakfast before heading to SW. Got there a little later than I thought we should have but it didn't matter. The Kraken had no line at all. DS12 was the instigator and we did it 3 times in a row. Twice in the front row. What a smooth roller coaster. It ended up being our favorite of the whole trip. WE ended up doing it 5 times that day and didn't wait at all.No big crowds even though it seemed like there were a lot of people there. Enjoyed Shamu spraying people, he enjoys that, the dolphin show was our favorite.DS12 and DS13 liked Seymour and Clyde.Mime was funny too. Did Atlantis and didn't wait in line either. What a great vacation. Fed the sting rays and the dolphins too. I also learned the Budweiser makes a very good Pale Ale. They shoiuld send me some because we can't get it here
Beautiful horses and coach. Got back to hotel and pooled it some more.Another good meal at islands and to bed. Did I mention that this was a great vacation lol.
DW went to the Portofino and had hair and nails done. She said the portofino was beautiful. They also did a nice job on her hair and nails. Boys and I went to US Did Horror make up show and MIB as well as Mummy again 2 or 3 times. We felt to reason to rush around and enjoyed ourselves with the usual suspects lemon slushees and Nathan's. Great detailing in this park also. Nice to see characters about too. SAw too much to remember all of it.
Chilled again by the pool and had a nice dinner and went to bed.
Next day we checked in to the HRH. Easy check out and easy check in. DW turned down first room because of smokeey smell and they obliged us with a nice room 2108. We enjoyed this hotel also.
