Fish Extenders

We are going on the Disney Fantasy Cruise in September - can't wait!

I have heard a lot of talk about fish extenders! Just wondering if anyone from here has actually been involved in this and what it is all about?

I did on my Dream Cruise last May and I am participating on my Fantasy Cruise this coming May. You sign up on your cruise meet thread in the cruise sub forums. Someone from your cruise meet organises it and you sign up to participate. Sometimes if the groups is quite large they will split it into two. You will get a list of who you are buying/making for. It will have cabin number and people in cabin by age and sex. You can choose to give individual gifts to each guest or a sharing gift for the whole cabin.

I gave out Australia souvenir keyrings, koala clip ons, pencils and shot glasses. With Freddo Frogs, Redskins and also some Disney stickers.

We got many things but a few I can remember off the top of my head are:

Lots of chocolates/lollies
magnets
keyrings
a cd of disney music
mini bottles of rum
handmade jewellery
colouring stuff for the kids
stickers
tattoos
photo album
disney character bracelet band things
mini beach kit (zip lock bag with small sunscreen, wet ones, bandaids... heaps of useful little things)

Here is a photo of our FE and decorated door. I bought the FE on ebay really cheaply.

We were part of the FE group on our Med cruise last year. My boys LOVED it and still talk about it. We brought Australian caps (very cheap from the dollar stores after Australia Day) and caramello koalas. We received all kinds of fun bits and pieces- key rings, lollies, Disney flags for our door, Disney torches etc. It was really fun to wake up, or come back to our room and find treats in our FE. Our group also arranged a wine tasting after the pirate party where we had to bring a bottle of wine from as close to home as possible. I have no idea how to add a photo of our FE but we purchased it on Ebay from "Grady's mommy"

I think there were 18 families, but we bought everyone a bear and a hat so there were about 45 gift parcels. It was a little pricy but we received great things in return and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Thanks so much! Just thinking about luggage room as well but i know my 5 year old nephew would love it!!

We did a Wonder cruise in December last year (our first) and joined in on the FE. It made the trip that more exciting. I've got pics on my blog if you want to click on the link and search through. I've been really slack posting and think I'm up to Cabo (or I should be up to there next). Life gets in the way of more important things like blogs!!!! We made some lovely friends on the cruise and from the FE.
