Fish extender for Disney Magic Cruise Oct 9, 2018-HELP

Taking our first Disney cruise in October 2018. Very interested in doing the fish extender and not really sure how it works and how to sign up for it. I don't know if the group sizes are limited I'm hoping they're not too big I just need help on what to do.

Fish Extenders are handled on your cruise meet thread. There is no cruise meet thread started for your cruise currently.

Basically, if your group wants to start one, someone will step up on the thread and say "I'll maintain the list". Then others will respond saying "we want to participate". FE "organizer" will keep a list of names/room numbers who are participating.

At some point the list will be closed (either due to maximum number of rooms/participants have been reached, or time constraint to allow all people on the list to organize their gifts). Generally the organizer, just prior to the close date, will ask everyone to confirm they are participating.

Once the list is closed, FE organizer will either post the final list on the thread or email to participants (however they decided to handle that).

Once on the ship, you hang up your Fish Extender, distribute your gifts, and collect the ones dropped off in your FE.

How big do these groups get. I was hoping for a small group maybe5-8 families. Can the size be limited by that ?
