Are the fish and chips you get at the fish and chip stand in Epcot the same as the ones served in the Rose and Crown? I assume the portion size is different but I am curious if it's the same fish.
I think so. You get one really big piece at the R&C, as opposed to three smaller pieces at the outdoor stand. Batter and fish tastes the same though! Delicious!
Not sure. I have to assume they've improved them. DH and I love fish n chips and eat them at some local pubs. We tried them at MGM counter service and they were soggy. We tried again at the stand in UK and they were even worse..we tossed them in the dumpster. Long John Silver is way better if that tells you anything. I hardly consider ourselves food snobs and we live on junk food when at Disney so I don't think that's the case.
I've read so many reports about how they good they are I think we may have to re-try them.
I think the fish is different - DH gets the fish and chips outside every trip and I can eat it - however when we got it in the restaurant, the piece was huge and tasted much fishier (ick!)...I believe the smaller pieces are a more mild tasting fish.
