Are the fish and chips both the same at Rose & Crown and Yorkshire County Fish Shop? I'm sure the price is very different.

Cant tell ya about R&C but the fish and chips from the CS place were great! Not greasy, super flaky fish...yum!

They are different. Like the picture shows the fish at the CS comes in two pieces. The fish at the Rose and Crown is one long (huge) piece served with chips and peas. The taste a bit different too. And both are very good.

Well, for me I think I like the CS better. I really like the batter and since the pieces are smaller there is more batter to fish than there is on the fish you get at the Rose and Crown. To me the batter on the CS comes out a bit crispier.

All I remember is really looking forward to the fish & chip at CS. Waiting on line for 30 minutes. No place to sit and eat. Taking a big bite and grease flying out of the fish and staining my shirt. Never again!!!

While waiting on my room to be ready this week, I took the monorail ride from the Contemporary to Epcot just to have the fish and chips. I have only had it at the CS, so cant really compare, but I love it. Especially with a pint of Bass:)

donnt call them fish and chips ,,more like raw grease under cooked crap and chips,,,,and you get 10 chips

You might consider the fish shop at Ragland Road at DTD. The fish and chips there are awesome.

But...back to Epcot, my DW and I prefer taste of the the couter service fish to the R & C fish. But....I don't like beer in plastic cups (I know, that's weird), so we tend to eat at R&C more. And I like a pint of the black stuff with my fish!

Yorkshire County Fish Shop sells a "snack size" portion, with two smaller pieces of fish. Rose & Crown sells a meal, with a larger portion of fish. We prefer Yorkshire's because they hand it to you right out of the fryer, and it's always hotter than what we have been served at the Rose & Crown.

Yorkshire price: Fish & Chips - 2 strips of fish served with chips $7.99

Rose & Crown Pub price: Harry Ramsden's, The World's Most Famous Fish & Chips - Battered fresh Cod served with English Chips $7.99

Rose & Crown Dining Room Price: Harry Ramsden's Fish & Chips - Battered fresh Cod served with English Chips $15.99

I thought the CS F&C were much better than the serving I had at the R&C.:earsboy:
