Question: I did a resale add on this year - same resort and UY - and I received my dues statement for the add on today. Should I receive the other contract separately? I had arranged to do dues by month last year so I want to get everything in synch with both contracts getting paid monthly.

TIA.

You may have an issue that needs correction. When you buy a resale for the same use year and it is deeded to the same owners as named on your prior deed, the new contract is supposed to get attached to the old one in the same account for banking purposes, for billing purposes, for viewing on line, and for retaining just one member number. If that occurred when you purchased the resale, you should have received a single dues bill covering both contracts and it would all be subject to your prior monthly payment choice. Thus, if you have received a bill that covers only the new contract, something may be wrong. Did anyone, like the broker or you, tell Disney at the time the sale was being done or as part of the closing that you already have a contract and member number and wanted the new contract attached to the same account? If not, Disney may not have done the attaching process and you need to contact it to see if it can be done now.

Drusba - I can see both contracts on line through my dashboard and it appears the resale is attached to the member number, since I can view it. I was afraid there might be an issue. I'll get on the phone Monday with Accounting. Thanks.

You will probably need to set up the add on to pay monthly. Since you probably paid dues for last year at closing.
