Complete and utter first world problem, and we have been up in arms about it for days!
We are about to buy in at pvb- we debated between that and vgf but in the end our hearts are with the poly and it's the right choice for us.
Hubby and I were already set to take a vacation in the spring of this year. Sine we get 2014 and 2015 points, we were excited to use some of the points to vaca this spring. Flights from canada to hawaii are SUPER cheap right now for our dates- so yeah for Aulani it is! However, since we are NEW dvc owners at PVB, we can't book anything until Feb 9
We are super worried to pay for these non refundable flights as what if aulani studios sell out for our dates between now and Feb 9!
Is there any way around this? Will MS let us make a tentative reservation and then use our points as soon s they are loaded?? Can anyone think of a creative way around this? My only other thought was rent points to book it, and then sell my PVB points to someone who wants christmas or new years there for 15.00 a point as they won't be able to have the advantage for there. We would then use that money to replace the money we spent to rent points.
