We're still hashing out the big first trip for the kiddo. Our options are for the first week in November or the first week in March. Both have their merits. The March trip would end just before Spring Breakers ramp up, and does not fall even close to Easter or Mardi Gras. So good crowds hopefully. But with November, we might catch a few F&W booths and even a MNSSHP. I think both dates are a coin flip about weather. Not hot (which we like), but could get a cold front... not sure if that's more likely for one over the other. Have no clue which might be more likely to be good swimming weather. If at all. I know DH and I tried to swim once in mild weather in January in those "heated pools" and nearly froze to death.

Which would you prefer with a toddler?

The crowds will get heavier later in the week in November for Jersey Week (and especially at Epcot - I think it's the last weekend of F&W. The last time we went, the weather couldn't have been more perfect.

I vote for November. I've been twice at that time, and the weather has been great - We swam both trips. Plus, you should hit the F&W which is great, and the crowds should be nice and low. The last day I've ever heard for MNSSHP is 11/2 or 11/3 so you'll most likly miss out on that.

I would choose November. Spring Break is a very vague term and often starts in March. I think crowd wise you are much better off in November. I'm not sure of the MNSSHP but there is one week where they switch from it to MVMCP and some people like to go that week to do both!! Weather wise both should nice, and swimming at least some days ok. We did go one year in March and it turned really cold. but most of the week was ok.

I would avoid March because of Spring Break. Everyone has spring break at different times. I would go with November!
