First Weekend of December

hello!
I know that the candlelight processional is that first weekend but is there anything else going on that weekend to cause hotels to be extremely expensive? We were there last year during the candlelight processional and we managed around it and had a great time! I was even looking at the weekend + Monday Tuesday opposed to Thursday-Sunday and it’s worse! What gives?!

There is an ASHP Pharmacy convention at the nearby Anaheim convention center. I’m going and booked my hotel months ago.

Yes that weekend is soooo expensive. We are booked at the Tropicana and were looking at other options but everything was booked up or absurdly priced.

I agree! The third week of December looks so much better, ~$450 for 4 nights vs ~$800+! Unless I snag a last minute deal, third week it is!

As mentioned, the largest pharmacy conference in the US is at the Anaheim Convention Center. Conference dates are 12/2-6 but lots of folks will come in early.

Like Whiskers, I've had my hotel booked since July for the conference.

If you can find a room, however, I don't think the conference will have a huge impact on the parks, at least during the day.
