Does anyone know if there is a special event or convention going on the first week in November? There are few hotel rooms available. We have a room at RPH but wanted Club (not available). Just curious if we should be worried about crowd levels.
thanks ;)

Both RPR and PBH are convention resorts. They get alot of convention buisness( even in club level) .That doesnt translate to crowded parks. When we went in Jan 2012 , PBH club level and RPR was booked, turns out there was a large convention going on.Parks were still lower crowds

We are thinking of going Nov. 1-4 I'm just hoping the crowd levels are low. What do you guys think?

nov 1 is a saturday and the last night for HHN.
the studios will close at 5:00 and IOA at 7:00.

usually the first week of november is a great time to go.
for this year i would guess your monday and tuesday will have lower crowds.

Thank you very much. Saturday will be our driving day so no park anyway but Sunday and Monday we will be hitting the parks for some fun. I just hope the mad dash for new Harry Potter ride is over with

It likely won't be AS bad, but it will still be the first place people run to in the morning, much like FJ is still the place people head to in IOA and its been 4 years.

In general, the best "crowd calendar" I've found is to look at the price of express passes on Universal's website. https://tickets.universalorlando.com/Ticket-Store/PurchaseTickets.aspx?ExpressPlus The more expensive the express pass, the more crowded Universal expects the parks to be.

Nov. 1st is $70 and nov 2-4 are $56. $56 is as cheap as they get for the rest of the year except for 4 days in Early Dec. that are $40. (the week of Christmas get's as high as $120) So, I'd expect fairly low to moderate crowds during that time.

that is the way i figure how to tell the newbies good days to go.
it is a great predictor to use when deciding best days for the parks.

the only thing that could change best days is when UO increases a price after you have booked and made park plans.

holiday times are the hard ones to say which is the best day for the parks.
christmas to new years day, is crowded no other way about it.

The beginning of November is a great time. We go that time too. It can be very pleasant weather with low crowds.
