Is there anything going on at Disney during the first week of May that would make it super crowded or uncomfortable? We need a mental health trip, and we don't think we can last until December!:scared:

I hope not because we'll be there then! According to the UG the crowds should be manageable and the weather should be nice too!!

Can't say anything about being super crowded, but I will have my 2 bad boys down there, so it may be uncomfortable, LOL.

Seriously, we're down there 4/30 to 5/8, and go around this time every year. Excellent weather, moderate-to-lower crowds, pool time, etc make it an excellent time to go.

Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is going on, but it's a great time to be there! I'll be there the week before you. Check out the America Gardens theatre for some Flower Power concerts. Have fun!

SWWWEEEEEEEEET!! We just booked. We had a vacation to WDW planned for December, but we're going in May now. We downgraded to Pop, but, whatever!

I need a BIG ol' mental health break. 9 days at WDW will do just the trick.

I've done both Dec and May trips, and it's not even close---May is MUCH better. Once you see the decorations in Dec, there is not much else appealing to this time of year with the questionable weather, and bigger crowds.

We did the first week of May last year - it was great! I thought it was a little hot (even though I live in FL I'm a wimp in the heat!), but all of my family from MA thought it was perfect! Not too crowded, got to go in the pool, got ADRs the day of at Flyign Fish and CA Grill! and got to see the flowers at Epcot.

LOL, your DS is adorable though, my DD would be smitten! She's a little flirt, she's 20 months old and she's mastered the art of flirting.

I'm so glad to hear that it's nice down there, we've only gone in September!

Wow, ADR's the day of! Yeah, I'm getting pretty excited. The heat I'm not too worried about, it gets hot as heck here too in the summer, and we've only done Disney in the heat of September, so it's all we know!

YAYYYYYYY

Cool! Thanks!! Good to know about the Flower Power concerts. I think the Flower and Garden Festival will be lovely. :lovestruc
